🎓 Founding Years

The school was established in 1978 in memory of P.P. Mohammed Haji, a visionary philanthropist and educationist whose mission was to bring quality education to rural communities in Kerala. It was set up under the management of the Kottukkara Muslim Educational Trust, a body committed to the holistic development of students irrespective of caste, creed, or socio-economic background.

📈 Growth & Expansion

Initially started as a high school, the institution gradually expanded into a Higher Secondary School in the year 1991. Over the years, several academic blocks, a science lab, computer lab, and a well-equipped library were added to support modern education. A strong PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) and alumni network played a crucial role in infrastructure development and maintaining academic standards.

Academic Achievements

PPMHSS Kottukkara has consistently maintained excellent academic results, with several students securing top ranks in the SSLC and Higher Secondary Board Examinations. The school is well-known for its: Strong science and commerce streams at the higher secondary level. Focus on language skills, including Malayalam, English, Arabic, and Hindi. Success in state and district-level arts, science, and sports festivals..
